Northeast residents and visitors can enjoy the opportunity to purchase fresh, locally grown food from the farmers who grew it themselves at the Northeast Farmers’ Market. Established in 2015, the market features 12 – 15 permanent vendors selling vegetables, eggs, meat, baked goods, and more Thursdays from 4pm – 7pm at the corner of Independence Blvd and Gladstone Ave.
Live music and entertainment are provided, making the market a festive place for people of all ages to gather. Come join your Northeast neighbors at market to create and enjoy a bustling market. There’s no place better to be on a summer evening than on Independence Avenue, surrounded by friends and family members, shopping for fresh and healthy food from local vendors, nourishing our bodies, our local economy, and our community all at once!
Northeast Farmers’ Market participates in Double Up Food Bucks, so customers can spend their EBT/SNAP benefits and have them matched up to $25 (i.e. $25 EBT = $50 Food!).
